Steve Strauss, AKBD is president of Whitehall, Pennsylvania-based Direct Kitchen Distributors. Steve has been a part of the family business since he started as a delivery person at the age of 12 and moved up through, installation, sales and design. All through high school and college, he continued working in the business. Over the years, he has been involved with every facet of the kitchen and bath business, becoming president of the company in 1992. Steve is an active member of the BKBG and a past board of directors’ member of the organization which is a national group of kitchen and bath dealers committed to excellence in their field. He is also certified by the National Kitchen and Bath Association as an AKBD (Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer).
